How to report an incorrect result

Open the compatibility result on FitMyCase and use Report Incorrect Compatibility so the review queue can investigate. You can also email fitmycaseindia@gmail.com with model name, what you tried, and what happened — photo of case and phone if possible.

How we review

When report arrives, we re-check: (1) physical verification measuring case with calipers if available, (2) manufacturer spec comparison display size notch style, (3) technician reports. Reviewer: Muhammad Adhil PK — Founder & Editor — Mobile Mechanic Student (2023-2025) — Kozhikode, Kerala. What we check: measure, compare spec, check conflicts in database. How corrections logged: date, what changed, why — in changelog or database updated_at field.

What happens after review

If error is confirmed, the relevant compatibility record is corrected or removed, database is updated, and sitemap is refreshed. If a model appears in more than one case group, we verify physically and merge or correct the grouping to reflect real-world fit. If display names are inconsistent, we standardise them to Brand Model Variant format.

Transparency

We keep honest note about AI-assisted drafts — AI output is draft only, must be reviewed by administrator before page marked published or included in static site deployment — Automated content must not invent dimensions, chipset details, compatible models, prices, testing outcomes or manufacturer endorsements — Corrections and updates — When report identifies error, relevant record and content can be reviewed, corrected, removed.
